Rock house hotel, Negril - Jamaica

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to stay at this beautiful resort.
We went to Jamaica to attend the wedding of two dear friends and once there we tried to see as much as we could from the island and booked several accomodations.  We started here on the west coast at the Rock house.
The rockhouse is a combination of the natural Jamaican beauty with a well thought architectural design where sustainability and guests comfort play a huge rol. With an welcome drink in our hands we took a first glimp over the resort. What a beauty. It was raining a lot upon our arrival but would you care when this is the place you are staying at? Even while raining we were witnesses from a gorgeous sunset. And the next morning you couldn't notice a thing.
Negril is laid back alternating cliffs with white sand beaches and this resort had everything we needed to open (for us) officially the summer season of 2015.

Where to stay when in ... The Algarve

Bela vista Hotel & Spa

The winter is on it's way and even I do love Christmas, right now I'm longing for the three S's: Summer, Sun and Sea.  So why not dream a bit and make plans for next year holidays in Portugal?
One of the places that it's definitely a visit worth, is the Bela Vista Hotel & Spa. A great hotel and spa situated in Portimão, at Praia da Rocha and just about a 45 minute car drive from Faro's airport.
The hotel was a family house in the 19th century and a few years ago has been redecorated by Graça Viterbo, one of Portugal's most known interior designers.
The hotel is an immaculately preserved resort hotel where you can find relaxation and privacy surrounded by vibrant colours. Basking on the recliners around the very fine pool, or lounging on a beach with private access, this is the perfect place to while the time away. The murmur of the waves of the nearby ocean is a constant companion.
I was there last year in June and I can tell you, definitely the place to start when willing to discover this jewel we call Algarve - the region where I was born and raised. And don't forget to eat. We have have delicious food in Portugal!!!

Where to stay when...In Stockholm

I'm staring a new rubric called "Where to stay when...". My intention is just to show the different kind of hotels you can choose from. And a good night of sleep in a good bed is what everyone wants after wandering a whole day in a new city, right?
As new resident from Stockholm I will definitely post some of the nicest hotels in town. And today I present you...The Miss Clara Hotel.

Time to build and paint your own world

The holidays season is just around the corner! And isn't this globe just a beautiful Christmas gift?
I love to travel and if you also love it as much as I do, there's no way you won't love the Paper Globe
The globe is a neat and beautiful interior item. Not only you can color and draw all the places you've visited, you can also use it as a geography tool. Another plus is that you can easily grab it and dream about your next destination. I definitely do that!!!
The globe has been designed for Geografia by the Japanese duo from the Drill Design studio
Beside the basic sectional globe, you can find other globes with different shapes, sizes and materials. I must say, less is more and I love this one the most!
Here you can see where in your neighbourhood you can buy one or if you prefer you can make it yourself. The French graphic designer Joachim Robert just designed a template and shows here how you can make it! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Kple Kple

On the In and around Nagoya from this week I will take you to another shop in Osu Kannon.
The funny thing about almost all Japanese shops is that you will find a mix of different kind of goods. Stationery is definitely really important in Japan and almost in every shop you will find notebooks, different kind of papers, pens, washitape, stamps and so on...
Kple Kple isn't much different. Here I found some really nice notebooks and stamps. Aside from that you can find beautiful Japanese clothes, shoes, bags and different kinds of accessories. Let you inspire and if you happen to be in the neighbourhood don't hesitate to take a look inside.
