Time to build and paint your own world

The holidays season is just around the corner! And isn't this globe just a beautiful Christmas gift?
I love to travel and if you also love it as much as I do, there's no way you won't love the Paper Globe
The globe is a neat and beautiful interior item. Not only you can color and draw all the places you've visited, you can also use it as a geography tool. Another plus is that you can easily grab it and dream about your next destination. I definitely do that!!!
The globe has been designed for Geografia by the Japanese duo from the Drill Design studio
Beside the basic sectional globe, you can find other globes with different shapes, sizes and materials. I must say, less is more and I love this one the most!
Here you can see where in your neighbourhood you can buy one or if you prefer you can make it yourself. The French graphic designer Joachim Robert just designed a template and shows here how you can make it! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

You don't need to use glue or scissors!

Kple Kple

On the In and around Nagoya from this week I will take you to another shop in Osu Kannon.
The funny thing about almost all Japanese shops is that you will find a mix of different kind of goods. Stationery is definitely really important in Japan and almost in every shop you will find notebooks, different kind of papers, pens, washitape, stamps and so on...
Kple Kple isn't much different. Here I found some really nice notebooks and stamps. Aside from that you can find beautiful Japanese clothes, shoes, bags and different kinds of accessories. Let you inspire and if you happen to be in the neighbourhood don't hesitate to take a look inside.

ICI Epicerie fine/ néo-cantine

In the corner between the Darwin- en Franz Merjay street in Brussels, you can find ICI Epicerie fine/ néo-cantine. A beautiful place to have lunch and to meet friends. You can see the menu on the wall and they will slightly changed it according the seasonal ingredients. Everything looks just yummie and their detox juices are not only tasty but also healthy!!! So if you happened to be in the neighbourhood  you should definitely give it a try! Hope you enjoy!

Uncle Deco

Today i decided to start with a new weekly post called In and around Nagoya. The city I live in Japan. Maybe you know that I moved here in August 2012 together with my husband due to his job. Its   just for a few years so I've been trying to enjoy as much as I can. Has been a nice experience and I realised that I haven't shared much of it. Maybe because I spent my first year more abroad than in Japan, so the time is now.

Uncle Deco is a beautiful antique and vintage shop situated in Osu Kannon in central Nagoya. Osu Kannon is well known because of the shinto temple and his big Shopping Arcade. You will definitely hear more about it because few of my favourite shops are situated here.
Uncle deco is a paradise of vintage, most of them American goods. Here you will also find clothes, stationery, stamps, boxes, baskets, lamps, toys and much more... A vintage paradise and an eye candy!
And if you like (vintage) stamps as much as I do, you will feel like a little kid on a sweets shop here.

The Calmtree bungalows - Bali

The Calmtree bungalows is one of those places that you would like to keep only for yourself. But as I believe true happiness should be shared, I will guide you today through the beautiful place I stayed at last July.
It is opened since March this year and Gede, the owner, has made from his bungalows one of the most cozy, peaceful and relaxed places I visited this summer.
It is situated in the Canggu beach in Bali, in a real surfers paradise. Canggu and Echo beach are just a few minutes away.

The rustic in balinese style designed bungalows offer everything you need. The room is simple and charming. The bed is comfortable and you will find everything you need for a good night rest, after a day surfing or discovering the island.
The mosquito net and repellent that are provided in every room will keep the mosquitos away (at least it worked really good for us). The shower is outside, what at the first sight may look a bit strange, but this is Bali, so isn't supposed to be like that? And if you ask me showering under the moon is definitely something special. The  garden is beautiful and well kept, and the swimming pool is just a bless for early and late swims. Just what you need in between your activities.
Every bungalow has their own veranda and i loved the fact that they even thought about putting some electricity plugs outside. In case you would like to work or charge your devices while laying in the great blue benches.  Not only a great and affordable holiday accommodation but also an amazing outdoors office! Just what you need, right?
