Eye candy of the week

I found this apartment that has been sold a while ago via  Husmanhagberg when I was looking for some kitchen inspiration on Pinterest.
My obsession for whites, monochrome, clean and clear spaces is getting out of proportions. But I guess this is what makes styling and (re)decorating spaces so interesting. Sometimes we just need to add some nice pieces like the Dagg vas from Svenskt Tenn, that has been on my wishlist for a long time, the Kubus bowl from By Lassen or wall art from Fotografiska or Lovewarriors.
Little things with great impact.
Have a nice weekend!

White love affair

Today another Swedish apartment. As you may know I have a crush on white interiors.
Our new apartment is getting there but while we still quiet busy painting orange walls white and doing our best to turn our apartment in Brussels into a Scandinavian palace, I daydream. And I share some of my inspiration with you.
This white and light apartment is situated in the centrum of Enköping and is on sale right now. Its a two room apartment with a gorgeous walkin closet. I guess every woman dreams about it, right?
Love the details. Definitely one of my favourite homes from 2015.  85m2 of great inspiration. Want to see more? Head to the fastighetsbyrån.se page.

Love at the first sight!

A few years ago I visited Sweden for the first time and I felt in love! I mean I truly, madly, deeply, felt in love with the city, the language, the people, the smell, the water, the parks, the design, the creativity, the food and so on... Since then I've come back every year and I've been dreaming of living there. Now that I know, that this is gonna happen in the near future I'm dreaming of a beautiful apartment. And this one would be just perfect. The only minus is that this apartment is situated in Gothenburg and I'm moving to Stockholm. But ohhhh what a beauty. I just love everything!!

Great how the natural sunlight falls inside.

Love the high ceiling,

the long and bright kitchen,

 the white floor

and everything else.

Can you feel the Spring in this balcony, calling and saying that it's again time to let him in?

In one woord - Gorgeous! Looking forward to move to Sweden and hopefully I will find some place like this. Fingers crossed!!!!!!
Have a great monday!

Home leave - Asia meets Europe

Yesterday I flew to Europe to spend a nice holiday with family and friends.
In total I will be here 7 weeks and I will be visiting 7 countries. Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Belgium and Portugal. Am I meeting you somewhere?

The thing about being a German-Portuguese couple, who was living before we moved to Japan in The Netherlands and in Belgium makes us already having to visit 4 countries, during our home leave.
My husband and I love Scandinavia, where we will be attending in Lund the wedding of our lovely friends Karin & Christian. And to get to Lund we have to fly to Copenhagen. Once there we couldn't miss the chance to visit this beautiful and inspiring city one more time, right?

Further I'm looking forward to see Vienna for the first time, to enjoy Lisbon and the Algarve as much as I can.
My holiday will end up in Antwerp, where i will be seeing Alicia Keys live on concert. This is definitely the cherry on top of my cake! Nice things to look forward to!

I guess being in Japan made me realize how lucky we are in Europe. Where every country is so close to each other with so many possibilities to visit them all.

Have a great day!

Stockholm I - Fotografiska

I'm back after a few weeks of absence due to my trip to Europe and a jet lag recover that took longer than I expected. But now I'm here, full with new ideas and lots of inspiration.

Exactly a month ago I was in Stockholm. In the city I always get inspired by. I've been preparing some posts about my time there. This is the first one!
Every time I go to Stockholm I pay a visit to Fotografiska. My favorite museum in Stockholm, situated on the island of Södermalm.
Besides being a charming museum with always beautiful expositions, they also offer you one of the most fantastic views of the city. This nice city view, you can experience best from their restaurant which serves delicious food aswell.
Together with my lovely friend Natascha from Mocca&me we visited it and we had a great time there! We had the opportunity to see David La Chappele - Burning Beauty - collection and to buy some nice posters.
David LaChapelle is best known for his glamorous and absurd images from the world of fashion, celebrities and models, but this exhibition presents all the aspects of his oeuvre.
If you didn't saw this exposition yet, and you are in Stockholm you still have until next sunday to visit it. More information here.

Below you see the Vee Speers posters I got at Fotografiska which are hanging now on my wall.
I've been in love with them for a while, and now I can enjoy looking at them all the time.
How do they look to you?
